When you travel with Sojourn, you’ll be treated to top quality equipment from our bikes to our support vans. Our hybrid and road bikes feature state of the art components and geometry, and have been designed with comfort, stability, and performance in mind. Tour in comfort using the latest in bicycling technology.

Our Cannondale Synapse road bikes have lightweight aluminum frames and carbon forks. The bikes feature Shimano 105 components and a range of 30 gears. Tires are 700x23 for comfort, performance, and superb handling. These bikes have received overwhelming praise from the majority of our guests and many have traded their personal bikes in for a Synapse after riding ours during their tour.

Absolute 2.0 Fuji hybrid bikes feature lightweight aluminum frames and carbon forks.  The upright positioning of the hybrid bikes makes riding more comfortable for those with neck or back issues and adjustable stems conform easily to personal preferences.  Hybrids feature smooth, easy to use flat bar road shifting and 700x25 tires for maximum performance.  These lightweight bikes enable comfort throughout several hours of cycling - no more struggling along on overweight bikes!

Both road and hybrid bikes are fitted with a rear rack and removable rear rack pack with shoulder strap, front map case, and left side mirror for use throughout your tour.  Choose between flat pedals or pedals with toe straps/cages.  For a more personalized fit, bring your own clipless pedals and our guides will install them on one of our bikes. 

We provide you with a choice of Giro or Bell helmets to ensure the perfect fit for your head. Helmets are very comfortable with 20 vents, a visor, and an easily adjustable fit system.

Our support vans are equipped for safety and comfort. Front and rear air conditioning and heating, cloth seating, tinted glass, lap and shoulder safety belts, and GM StabiliTrak are standard features on our support vans.
