Accommodations:  Sojourn partners with thoughtfully selected inns that compliment each individual region in which we travel.  Our lodging partners range from small country inns to the finest wine country estates.  Each of our bike tours includes five nights of lodging from Sunday night through Thursday night. The exception to this is our 6-night bike tour in the Ouer Banks of North Carolina and certain specialty trips.

Meals:  Most meals are included during all Sojourn bike tours.  Breakfasts are typically served at our accommodations.  Lunch is either a picnic lunch provided by your tour leaders or on your own in town.  Dinners are at fine restaurants featuring the best of regional cuisine, either within our accommodations or nearby.  Most tours provide you with one evening where you will be on your own to choose from fine selection of local restaurants.

Events:  All individual and group scheduled events such as tours, admission, and tastings are included in the tour price.

Tour Leaders:  All trips, regardless of group size, will be guided two professional bike tour leaders.  Our friendly and knowledgeable leaders will be at your service for the duration of the tour. 

Van Support:  Each day one leader will drive the van to provide support to the group while they are riding their bikes.  The van will “sweep” the routes providing snacks, refreshments, or a lift for cyclists.  The other leader will be supporting the group while riding their bike with guests.

Bikes:  The use of a state of the art hybrid or road style bike, complete with a full range of accessories, is included in your tour price.  Hybrids are available in men’s and women’s styles.  All bikes are outfitted with a rear rack bag large enough to carry a light jacket, camera, wallet and snack.  The bag has a shoulder strap and detaches easily from the rack so you can take it with you whenever you stop.  A map case attaches to the handlebars of each bike.

Helmets:  Use of a helmet is also included in the tour price.  We provide both Giro and Bell helmets to ensure the proper fit for a variety of head sizes.

Daily Route Briefing, Maps & Directions:  Each day your bike tour leaders will brief the group about the day’s ride and points of interest.  They will provide you with detailed maps and directions so that you can bike at your own pace.

Snacks & Refreshments:  The support van will carry a supply of snacks and refreshments for you during each day’s ride.  You are free to re-supply at any time.

Transfers:  All transfers during the tour are included in the tour price.  This includes luggage transfer as well as scheduled guest transfers to avoid traffic or cover lengthy distances. 

Comprehensive Trip Literature:  Each traveler will receive detailed information regarding all aspects of your Sojourn Vacation.
