Following their first use on tour in Arizona last month, they received a big thumbs-up from our tour participants. Veteran Sojourn traveler, Avi Ford, wrote to us during her tour to say "I just wanted to let you know that you did a great job with the new bikes! I am very pleased with the new Cannondale bikes. They are a marked improvement over the previous ones." Thanks, Avi - we think everyone will be quite pleased with them!

Vermont to Quebec City Bike Tour
Back for 2011 - Now Eight Nights!
This tour was created specifically as part of the State of Vermont's celebration of the 400th anniversary of the discovery of Lake Champlain. This amazing ride follows bike paths and lightly traveled roads along some of the oldest routes in North America and closely traces the route sailed by French explorer Samuel de Champlain as he extended his exploration from Quebec City and the settlement he established there, to the lake that bears his name. Mileage options range between 300-485 miles over the eight day trip. The final three evenings will be spent in Quebec City in a charming country auberge. Terrain is generally quite level with a few moderate hills. Reserve soon as space is very limited and filling fast!

Arizona Bike Tours
Back by Popular Demand!
By popular demand we are continuing our fall trips in Arizona during October and November 2009. This ever-popular and perennially sold out tour continues to be a huge hit. As always, our exclusive two-night stay at one of Arizona's first authentic dude ranches, Rancho De La Osa, is a favorite highlight. Our fall 2009 and winter 2010 trips include two fabulous, fun-filled days and starstruck nights in this historic oasis. Now you can extend your bike season by vacationing in glorious weather and true southwestern style.

Outside Magazine Touts Sojourn's Arizona Bike Tour
Outside's annual Travel Issue named Sojourn's Arizona tour as a "dream ride" and 'life-list-worthy tour", noting routes that lead past giant cacti and through red rock canyons, along with light pollution-free nights at historic guest ranches. Men's Journal Magazine didn't want to miss out and also touted our Arizona Bike Tour in a recent issue.

Oregon's Columbia River Gorge Tour
Sojourn's 2008 new active vacation in Oregon's Columbia River Gorge region is back by popular demand! The tour spans the gorgeous country between Mount Hood and Washington's Mount Adams to the north. Incredibly scenic bike rides, hikes, and a raft trip on a Wild & Scenic River provide a comprehensive introduction to the region. The trip is rated more moderate but shorter routes offer something for everyone. Luxurious lodging is the standard throughout with both properties named to Travel & Leisure's Top 100.
